Sidewalk Vending

The City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2023-04-CC during the regular scheduled City Council Meeting of July 11, 2023. The adoption changed the South Gate Municipal Code pertaining to sidewalk vending to address the changes required by state law relating to Senate Bill 946 and Senate Bill 972. Sidewalk vendors are required to obtain a permit from the City of South Gate in order to operate.
