Water SCADA System Upgrade

Picture2.jpg

The City’s water system has an existing SCADA system that was originally installed in 2013. The SCADA system automates operational aspects of water operations so that the water system can be managed remotely through a central station located at the Field Operations Yard, further, provides security benefits required pursuant to American Water Infrastructure Act. This project will replace out-of-date software and hardware to modernize the system. The contract will be awarded to Macro Automatics at the April 9th council meeting. The project will take 1 year to complete.
