Alarm Permits

City of South Gate Municipal Code 7.66.020 Alarm System Registration and Fees require that all alarm systems (other than vehicles) register with the city or Police Department within 2 weeks of installation. Alarm Registration and Management is handled by PMAM Corporation at http://www.famspermit.com/southgate.

Alarm Fees

  • Alarm Registration - $32
  • Alarm Permit Renewal - $19
  • Alarm Penalty for non-registration - $127
  • Each false alarm after 3 through 7 in 12 months - $107 per each response
  • Each false alarm after 7 in 12 months - $214 per each response
