Upgrade to MWD Intertie CB-11

The project will upgrade the existing control valves and piping system at the Metropolitan Water District (MWD) Intertie CB-11, located at Southern Avenue and Kauffman Avenue in the City. The existing control valves have deteriorated due to age, and are no longer operable. The project includes recoating and relining the existing piping, as well as replacing the existing control valves and associated piping within the intertie.

The project is currently out to bid for construction. Construction is anticipated to begin in October 2026 and be completed by February 2027.
