Film Permits

The City of South Gate partners with Film L.A. to process film permit applications and requests. For any city related questions, or if you want to reserve a city facility for filming, please contact the City Manager's Office at 323-563-9502.

Application fee $134 per application
Location fee for filming on city property or public right-of-way $536 per day
Still photography permit fee for public property or public right-of-way $60 per day
Use of city facilities for filming photography $536 per day
Use of city facilities for still photography $134 per day
Filming in the Swim Center $2,651 per day
Filming in the Sports Center $2,651 per day
Filming in other Parks & Recreation Facilites TBD
