Temporary Water Shutdown

To improve the City’s water infrastructure, Sequel Contractors, Inc. needs to connect the newly installed water mains along Kansas Avenue(PDF, 651KB)  to the existing water system which will necessitate the temporary interruption of service. Said interruption will occur from 3 am to 10 am on January 3, for the above referenced avenues respectively. Should there be a need to do so we will notify you in advance in writing of any changes to the proposed service interruption schedule.

 

South Gate's Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Program

Safe Routes to School (SRTS) is a federally funded program to increase the number of children who walk or bike to school in the US. Not only is it healthier for the children, but it reduces the number of cars and air pollution around the schools, and creates a more vibrant community.
