Contest Citation

Right to Appeal

Any entity issued an administrative citation may contest the violation(s) or that he or she is a responsible party by filing a request for an administrative hearing on a City approved form with the City Clerk's Office within twenty (20) calendar days from the date of the citation.

An advance deposit equal to the total amount of the fine for this citation must accompany any request for an appeal.

Any person who wishes to contest the citation and is financially unable to tender the advance deposit may complete and submit a City approved application for a Hardship Waiver along with all supporting documentation. The Hardship Waiver must be filed within twenty (20) calendar days from the date of the citation.

Additional information regarding Appeal Requests and Hardship Waivers can be found on the back of the citation form.
