CERT

CERT Logo

Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) is a program offered by the Police Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department. CERT teaches you how to prepare yourself, your family and your neighborhood for an emergency.

CERT Includes:

  • Disaster Preparedness
  • Disaster Fire Suppression
  • Terrorism Awareness
  • Disaster Medical Operations
  • Light Search and Rescue
  • Team Organization
  • Disaster Psychology
  • Final Disaster Exercise
