Sergio Camacho was hired by the South Gate Police Dept. in 2004 after five years of service with the Santa Ana Police Department. He has worked as a patrol officer, Crime Impact Officer, and Field Training Officer prior to promoting to Sergeant in 2009. He worked as a patrol sergeant and Administrative Sergeant prior to promoting to lieutenant in May of 2015.
Lt. Camacho currently manages the Traffic Division, Crime Impact Team and is designated as a Patrol Watch Commander. He can be reached via email.
