Announcements:

•  Planning Commission holds meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month.

•  Effective March 15, 2025, a Convenience Fee of 3.5% will be added to all credit card transactions. This applies to payments made in-person and online. Customers may avoid this fee by paying with cash, check, or money order at the Community Development counter during normal counter hours.

•  Effective November 9, 2025, the City's Fees increased 7%. 

• The Planning Division will only be accepting digital applications sent via email to planninginfo@sogate.org

•  Planning Division Approvals are valid for One (1) Year Only.

• Applicants are required to obtain permits from the Building & Safety Division prior to Planning Approval's expiration. New submittals and applicable fees are required after approval expiration.
