In observance of the holiday season, most City facilities will be closed. Public safety services will remain fully operational throughout the holiday period. The City of South Gate wishes all residents a safe, restful, and enjoyable holiday season. Happy Holidays!
Residents may continue to make water bill payments using the following options:
Drop Box: A secure payment drop box is available 24 hours a day at the front entrance of City Hall (checks only).
There will be no trash collection on Thursday, December 25, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026.
Collection service will be delayed by one day for the remainder of each holiday week.
Street sweeping parking restrictions will not be enforced on December 24, December 25, and January 1.
To avoid citations, vehicles must continue to comply with all other posted parking regulations during the holiday period.
