Block Party
Block party permits must be submitted 30 days prior to the date of the event. Fee must be paid by cash or check, made out to the City of South Gate.
A $59 application fee and a $400 street closure fee is required at time of application submittal. The street closure fee is at-cost per the City Fee Schedule. The actual cost of City staff time and equipment required to conduct the street closure will be determined after the event. The applicant is required to pay the difference If the actual cost results to be greater than $400.
