Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) Upgrade Phase

The City owns and maintains approximately 14,400 meters and out of those 14,400 meters roughly 2,400 meters were change to AMR meters.  Phase 3 of the upgrade will replace and additional 1700 manual meters to AMR meters.   The AMR meters will automatically collect the data by driving or walking by the meters with an endpoint device.  This will eliminate the need to physically read the meters.  The contract was awarded to  T.E Roberts on January 23, 2024   The project is expected to start in May 2024 and be completed in September/October 2024.
