Bulky Item Pickup and Drop off
Universal Waste Systems provides residential customers and multifamily tenants removal of up to ten FREE bulky items per month when scheduled. After collection of the 10th item a fee will be collected by Universal Waste Systems. As an example, if a resident places twelve items out throughout the month of June the resident would be charged for the 11th and 12th item pick-up. Beginning in July the same resident would receive up to ten items at no cost. Bulky items include: chairs, sofas, appliances, bed frames, mattresses, lawn furniture, etc. Universal Waste Systems will not collect any of the following items: bed-frame parts, futons, couch beds, mattress pads and toppers, water beds, air mattresses, items with bed bugs, and excessively wet, damaged or soiled items.
How to Schedule a Bulky Item Pick Up
Step 1: Call Universal Waste Management Customer Service at (562) 334-3660 to schedule a bulky item pick-up and confirm the bulky-item collection date.
Step 2: Place items on the sidewalk/parkway of your property on the collection date.
