The City Attorney is an appointed position and provides legal advice and services to the City Council, Commissions and staff and ensures that the City complies with all codes and regulations. The City Attorney represents the City in litigation, manages outside Counsel representing the City and reviews contracts, ordinances and resolutions.
Raul Salinas has served as the South Gate City Attorney since 2003.
