    The Parks and Recreation Department offers transit services for South Gate residents. The office is located in the Sports Center at South Gate Park, in front of the tennis courts.

    The city’s Customer Service Division administers the monthly collection of water, trash, and street sweeping utility payments for approximately 15,610 residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

  10. Water Conservation Program

    Due to the ongoing drought, the city declared a Level 1 Water Supply Shortage Condition for South Gate in April 2015.
